Almáciga is a village in the administrative district (district) of Anaga in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the northeast of the Spanish island of Tenerife .

It is located in the Anaga Mountains behind the town of Taganana . To get there, you have to drive through the Montañas de las Mercedes and through a tunnel down into the valley.
