Almut Haker

Almut Haker (born May 22, 1942 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

biography

Haker reached secondary school leaving certificate at a Waldorf school and completed a three-year training course in tailoring before working in this profession for four years. She then became a housewife.

In 1983 Haker joined the CDU Bremen . There she was a member of the board of the Schwachhausen district association of the CDU as well as deputy chairwoman, member of the board of the Bremen-Stadt district of the women's union and first chairwoman and member of the state board of the CDU Bremen. From 1984 to 1997 she was a member of the advisory board at the local office in Schwachhausen , and in 1994 she was a candidate for election to the European Parliament.

Haker was a member of the Bremen citizenship from May 9th to October 10th 1997 and again from 1999 to 2003.
