Johannes-Aloysius "Alo" Hauser (born October 7, 1930 in Bad Godesberg ; † October 29, 1997 in Düsseldorf ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1950, Hauser, who was a Roman Catholic , began studying law and political science as well as economics and business administration, which he completed in 1954 with the first state examination and in 1959 with the second state examination. He then worked as a lawyer in Bad Godesberg. Hauser was a member of the K.St.V. Arminia Bonn . His younger half-brother is Norbert Hauser , his son Benedikt Hauser is also active for the CDU and sat in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 2010 to 2012 .

Political party

Hauser joined the CDU in 1952. He joined the Junge Union (JU), was elected to the JU state executive in 1956 and was state chairman of the JU Rheinland from 1962 to 1968 . From 1965 to 1969 he was a member of the JU federal board. From 1963 to 1992 he was district chairman of the CDU Bad Godesberg and from 1970 of the CDU Bonn , was elected to the state board of the CDU Rhineland and was chairman of the senior citizens' union of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1988 until his death .

Hauser was a council member of the city of Bad Godesberg from 1956 to 1970 and then until 1972 council member of the city of Bonn. From 1956 to 1961 he was a member of the district council of the Bonn district .

Hauser belonged to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 1958 until his resignation on October 25, 1965 , where he was a member of the youth committee. In the 1965 federal election he was elected to the German Bundestag via the CDU's state list in North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he belonged until 1983. From 1969 to 1983 he represented the constituency of Bonn in parliament .
