Aloeus (son of Poseidon)
Aloeus ( Greek Ἀλωεύς ) is a figure in Greek mythology . He is the son of Poseidon and the Kanake . Together with Iphimedeia , the daughter of his brother Triopas , he was the father of the Aloaden ( Ἀλοάδαι ) or Aloids ( Ἀλοεῖδαι , Latinized Aloïdae ; after competing variants only namesake) Ephialtes and Otos.
