Alois Dolinar (born May 22, 1955 in Spittal an der Drau ) is an Austrian politician ( TS ) and teacher. In 2013 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

education and profession

Alois Dolinar passed the Matura at BG / BRG for Slovenes in Klagenfurt in 1973 . He then began studying sports for teaching in 1974 and at the same time studied Slavic Studies in the teaching profession for Slovenian as well as interpreting in the languages ​​Slovenian and German with a scholarship abroad at the University of Ljubljana and celebrated his graduation in 1980 with the award of the academic degree of a Magister at the University of Graz . Subsequently, in 1980 Dolinar became a teacher at the BG / BRG for Slovenes, from which he himself graduated, and from 1984 also worked as a sworn and court-certified interpreter. Between 1985 and 1997, Dolinar was also a teacher at the BG / BRG Mössinger Strasse and since 1985 has also been the owner and manager of the "Mag. Dolinar translation agency". From 1989 he became involved as an introductory teacher for the teaching internship and between 1995 and 1997 he was responsible for teacher training and teacher training in the bilingual school system at the Federal Pedagogical Institute in Carinthia. Furthermore, he has been active as a leader of seminars in teacher training since 1995, worked from 1995 to 1999 as a member of the examination committee for teaching positions in compulsory schools and began in 1997 to lead bilateral and multilateral seminars and courses. He also taught between 2004 and 2006 as a teacher at the Volkshochschule Villach and Spittal an der Drau. Dolinar has been a registered mediator since 2005 and has been a sworn and court-certified expert for alpine skiing, coastal, inland and maritime shipping as well as sports injuries since 2008.

Politics and functions

Dolinar has been chairman of the "Yacht Club Korotan" since 1989 and was vice-president of the "Slovenian World Congress" from 1991 to 1999. He has been a member of the Stronach team since September 1, 2012 and ran for the Stronach team in the 2013 state election in first place in the Klagenfurt constituency , whereupon he was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on March 28, 2013. He was thus one of two Carinthian state parliament members with a Slovene mother tongue. In July 2013, however, he resigned his state parliament mandate for health reasons.
