Alois Junker
Alois Junker (born July 8, 1893 in Auschowitz , Austria-Hungary , † March 23, 1967 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and specialist teacher. Junker was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1932 to 1934 .
Junker was born near Marienbad and attended the teacher training college in Eger after completing elementary and community school . In 1912 he entered the school service, during the First World War he did military service between 1914 and 1918. Junker acquired his teaching qualification for a community school in 1921 and worked as a specialist teacher in Schrems . After joining the Social Democratic Workers' Party in Austria in 1919, Junker represented the SDAP between May 21, 1932 and February 16, 1934 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. He took a leading role in the February fighting in Schrems and was therefore arrested in 1934, dismissed from school and sentenced to a year in heavy prison. He subsequently worked as a cinema ticket seller and insurance agent and was resumed in school in 1938. In 1945 Junker was promoted to district school inspector.
