Alois Späth (politician)

Alois Späth (born November 2, 1887 in Oberweier , † June 20, 1967 in Karlsruhe ) was a Hessian politician ( center ) and a former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Alois Späth was the son of the farmer and baker Joseph Späth and his wife Luigard nee Gür. Alois Späth was married to Anna, née Holzenthaler. As a Catholic he joined the Christian trade union movement and was trade union secretary in Mainz . For the German Center Party he was a district council member in Mainz and from 1927 to 1931 a member of the state parliament in Darmstadt .
