Aloisia Josepha von Liechtenstein (* March 20, 1670 ; † August 29, 1736 in Graz ) was a member of the Princely House of Liechtenstein , an ancient noble family in what is now the Czech Republic and Austria . She was married to the Imperial Count Franz Wilhelm II von Hohenems . This marriage made it possible for the Princely Liechtenstein family to take over the rule of Schellenberg and the County of Vaduz from the Counts of Hohenems . Life

Aloisia Josepha von Liechtenstein was born as the daughter of Prince Maximilian II of Liechtenstein and Johanna Beatrix von Liechtenstein. On April 3, 1691 she married the regent of the imperial county Hohenems , Franz Wilhelm II., A loyal subordinate of Emperor Leopold I , who had served him as imperial chamberlain, first lieutenant and regiment commander.
