Aloys Rüberg

Aloys Rüberg (born March 2, 1894 in Iserlohn ; † January 30, 1971 there ) was a syndic of craftsmen's associations, civil servants and politicians of the Center Party .

education and profession

Rüberg studied law and political science in Bonn and Münster . In 1921 he was promoted to Dr. rer. pole. PhD. He then worked as a syndic of craft associations. Most recently for the Oberhausen Chamber of Crafts .

politics

He had been a member of the Center Party since 1919. For political reasons he was dismissed after the beginning of the National Socialist rule . Since then he has worked as a consulting economist and tax advisor.

After 1945 Rüberg rejoined the center and sat on the main board of the party. Since 1946 he was a city councilor in Iserlohn. In the same year he was a member of the Provincial Council of Westphalia and in 1946 and 1947 a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . In the first and second selection period, it was about the state list in the Diet of North Rhine-Westphalia selected.

On December 17, 1951, he resigned prematurely from parliament, since he has since served as Vice-President of the State Audit Office of North Rhine-Westphalia .

In Iserlohn a street is named after Rüberg.
