Alphonse Chantoux

Alphonse Chantoux CSsR (born January 29, 1920 in Rennes , † 1998 ) was Apostolic Prefect of Fada N'Gourma .

Life

Alphonse Chantoux joined the Redemptorist Order, made his profession on September 8, 1939 , and was ordained a priest on April 6, 1946 . Pope John XXIII appointed him on May 29, 1959 as Apostolic Prefect of Fada N'Gourma . He attended the second sessions of the Second Vatican Council . He resigned from his office on June 16, 1964.
