The Diocese of Fada N'Gourma ( Latin Dioecesis Fada Ngurmaensis , French Diocèse de Fada N'Gourma ) is in Burkina Faso situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Fada N'Gourma .

history

The diocese of Fada N'Gourma was founded on February 12, 1959 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Quamquam cotidie from cessions of territory from the Apostolic Prefecture Niamey as Apostolic Prefecture Fada N'Gourma . On June 16, 1964, the Apostolic Prefecture Fada N'Gourma was by Pope Paul VI. raised to the diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Quod sanctissimum . The diocese of Fada N'Gourma gave up on November 20, 2004 parts of its territory to establish the diocese of Dori .

It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Koupéla as a suffragan .
