The Diocese of Manga ( Latin Dioecesis Mangana , French Diocèse de Manga ) is in Burkina Faso situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Manga .

Its territory includes the Center-Sud region with the provinces of Boulgou , Bazèga and Zoundwéogo and the province of Nahouri in the Center-Est region . Besides the cathedral parish in Manga (province of Zoundwéogo) there are parishes in Kombissiri and Toécé (Bazèga), Zabré (Boulgou), (Nahouri) and Gogo and Gomboussougou (Zoundwéogo).

history

The Diocese of Manga was established on January 2, 1997 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution De cunctis from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Koupéla and the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou as a suffragan .
