Wenceslas Compaoré (born November 8, 1934 in Kombissiri ) is former Bishop of Manga ( Burkina Faso ).

Life

Wenceslas Compaoré was ordained a priest on September 8, 1962 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Manga on January 2, 1997 .

The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Jozef Tomko , ordained him episcopal on May 18 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Jean-Marie Untaani Compaoré , Archbishop of Ouagadougou , and Anselme Titianma Sanon , Bishop of Bobo-Dioulasso .

On December 28, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
