Anselme Titianma Sanon (born September 1937 in Sya ) is Old Archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso ( Burkina Faso ).

Life

Anselme Titianma Sanon was ordained a priest on September 8, 1962 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Bobo-Dioulasso diocese . Paul VI appointed him on December 12, 1974 Bishop of Bobo-Dioulasso.

The Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Cardinal Paul Zoungrana MAfr , ordained him episcopal on April 5th the next year ; Co - consecrators were André-Joseph-Prosper Dupont MAfr, Bishop Emeritus of Bobo-Dioulasso, and Auguste Nobou , Bishop of Korhogo .

Pope John Paul II elevated the diocese to an archbishopric on December 5, 2000, making him the first archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso. He resigned from his office on November 13, 2010.
