Gabriel Sayaogo

Gabriel Sayaogo (born January 9, 1962 in Niességa , Burkina Faso ) is a Burkinabe clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Koupéla .

Life

Gabriel Sayaogo received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Ouahigouya on July 13, 1991 .

On December 28, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Manga . The Apostolic Nuncio in Burkina Faso, Archbishop Vito Rallo , donated him episcopal ordination on April 30, 2011 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Philippe Ouédraogo , and the Bishop Emeritus of Manga, Wenceslas Compaoré .

On December 7, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Koupéla. The inauguration took place on January 18, 2020.
