Séraphin François Rouamba

Séraphin François Rouamba (* 1942 in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso ) is a Burkinabe clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Koupéla .

Life

Séraphin François Rouamba received on 27 June 1970, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 1 June 1995 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishops of Koupéla . The Bishop of Padua , Archbishop Antonio Mattiazzo , donated him episcopal ordination on October 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Burkina Faso, Archbishop Luigi Ventura , and the Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Jean-Marie Untaani Compaoré . On December 5, 2000, John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Koupéla.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on December 7, 2019.
