Alphonso Wood
Alphonso Wood (born September 17, 1810 in Chesterfield , New Hampshire , † January 4, 1881 in West Farms , New York ) was an American educator and botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Alph.Wood ". The abbreviation “ A.Wood ” (now used elsewhere) was also used in the past .
