The Alpkopf is a mighty, chunky mountain head in the Allgäu Alps with a height of 2102  m . It is actually just a wide flattening zone in the southeast ridge of the Alpgundkopf at a distance of 383 meters. 666 meters further south-east and almost 400 meters below is the small Guggersee .

No marked path leads to the Alpkopf. You can reach it pathless from the Alpgund , although this climb requires sure-footedness and mountain experience. Since the Alpkopf is lower than the Alpgundkopf, the Alpkopf is completely insignificant for tourism.
