The Alschbächel is a nearly two-kilometer-long watercourse in the Wasgau ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) in southern Palatinate and a right tributary of the Lauter , which is still called Wieslauter here on its upper course .

The Alschbächel rises in the Wasgau west of the Alschberg ( 430.4  m above sea level ) in three spring branches. After the confluence of the source branches, the combined stream runs on the southern edge of the Alschberg and finally flows not far from the seven-part bridge at a height of 174  m above sea level. NN from the right into the Wieslauter .
