The Old Castle is an Outbound probably high medieval Spur castle on a 320 m above sea level. NHN high mountain spur over the victory in Dreis-Tiefenbach near Netphen , North Rhine-Westphalia . It possibly goes back to a Franconian hill fort. In 1910 an inn was built on the site. Excavations took place in 1929.
The former small castle complex had a 20 by 10 meter main castle , a 20 by 40 meter outer bailey and a keep on an area of 11 by 7.8 meters with a wall thickness of 1.8 meters and a fountain in the northeast corner.
