The nature reserve Alte Hahner Straße is located in the municipality of Simmerath between Roetgen and Lammersdorf on the right of Landesstraße 12 .
description
The area consists of spruce stands with a layer of herbs with blueberry deposits . In the center there is a 0.2 hectare spring moor. In the southern part, a spring stream rich in peat moss flows from west to east. The aim is to transform it into a beech forest .
Protection purpose
Preservation and optimization of a historic, historically created geomorphological structure in the context of the landscape and also preservation and development of old wood.
