Old Holy Cross Church (Altenbeken)
The old Catholic Holy Cross Church is a listed building in Altenbeken , a municipality in the Paderborn district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
History and architecture
The former pilgrimage and Vikariekirche standing at old Kirchweg 46. The original building was a vaulted hall building of three yokes and a semicircular apse . The building was extended to the west in 1864. In the Second World War , the church was badly destroyed and then greatly reduced in size and rebuilt in a simplified form with a beamed ceiling. The building is currently used as a cemetery chapel.
