history

The company was founded as Youbisheng Green Paper in 2000 and produced paperboard for the production of paperboard for the Chinese market. In 2010, Youbisheng produced around 150,000 tons of paperboard in Guangdong and Fujian provinces . On April 14, 2011, the company was re-established as a German stock corporation and on July 13, 2011 it went public in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange .

In January 2017 was from the District Court of Cologne , a Bankruptcy and Christoph Niering appointed liquidator. According to the legally binding insolvency plan, the Cologne District Court lifted the insolvency proceedings in February 2018. As a result, the company was repositioned as an investment company on February 23, 2018. As a condition from the insolvency proceedings, the assets held were auctioned until May 2019.

Criticism of the business model and share price development

In November 2017, the German business magazine Capital criticized the business model of Chinese companies that went public through a holding company in Germany. Chinese companies in Germany raised EUR 330 million in equity, and investors made losses of 98% on average.
