Old Jewish cemetery in Hodonín

The old Jewish cemetery in Hodonín (German Göding ), a town in Okres Hodonín in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic , is said to have been laid out around 1620. The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .

The 7,918 square meter cemetery was converted into a park in 1974. Most of the old tombstones ( Mazevot ) were moved to the new Jewish cemetery in Hodonín .
