Georg Arnould
Georg Ludwig Wilhelm Arnould (born February 6, 1843 in Hamburg ; † August 13, 1913 there ) was a German naval and army painter and illustrator.
Life
Before 1861, Arnould completed his studies in Wilhelm Camphausen's studio in Düsseldorf. He then received further training in Karl Theodor von Piloty's studio in Munich. Arnould went to Paris around 1861. There he became a student of Gustave Doré . After 1861 travels through Africa and India can also be proven. From 1887 he worked in Hamburg mainly as an illustrator for magazines and companies.
