The Old Jewish Cemetery Thann is a Jewish cemetery in the French town of Thann in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace ( Grand Est region ). The cemetery is located on Rue Humberger, northwest of the old town.

history

The old Jewish cemetery was probably built in the 17th century. Today there are still around 100 tombstones , the oldest dating from the 17th century.

A new Jewish cemetery was created at the end of the 19th century. It is located about one and a half kilometers east of the old town in the direction of Aspach .
