Old Town Hall (Ittlingen)
The old town hall in Ittlingen , a municipality in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg , was built around 1816.
History and description
On the site of a previous building that was demolished in 1816, the old town hall was built in the middle of the town according to plans by the architect Weis from Karlsruhe. The two-story building has five axes towards the square and is covered by a hipped roof. On this side there is also the entrance with two round arches made of sandstone . The corners of the building are also provided with stone visually highlighted sandstone. On the roof ridge is crowned by a roof turret with bell and clock. On the front side, a balcony is attached in the middle of the first floor, which rests on heavy consoles . There is an arched cellar entrance on the street side.
