Old Town Hall (Wössingen)
The old town hall in Wössingen , a district of the municipality Walzbachtal in the district of Karlsruhe ( Baden-Württemberg ), is a town hall built in 1746 . The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .
description
The 14 meter wide and 10 meter deep building served as the town hall until 1970. The new owners renovated the half-timbered house in an exemplary manner in 1977. A half-timbered upper floor stands on the massive ground floor and the house is covered by a hipped roof. On the top of the roof there is an open roof turret with a bell from 1743. A clock is inserted in a dormer on the street side in the roof .
Next to the front door which is cornerstone of sandstone with an inscription and the year of construction.
