Altiyan Childs
Altiyan Childs (* 1975 in Mount Isa , Queensland) is an Australian rock singer . He is the winner of the second season of the talent show The X Factor in Australia.
Career
Childs grew up in Sydney. He started his first band at the age of 12. Later he was a member of the band Masonia , with whom he made the jump into the charts in his home country. After their dissolution he worked as a forklift driver.
In autumn 2010 he took part in the Australian version of The X Factor and won the competition in the final broadcast on November 22, 2010. With the win he received a recording deal with Sony Music Australia . His debut single Somewhere in the World was released as a download on November 22, 2010.
