Alu Gobhi ( Hindi : आलू गोभी , Urdu : آلو گوبی, ālū gobhī ; literally 'potatoes and cauliflower') is a North Indian and Pakistani dish made with potatoes , cauliflower and South Asian spices. It has a yellowish color from the use of turmeric . In some variations, it also contains kalonji and curry leaves . In other popular variations, the dish contains garlic , ginger , onions , fresh coriander , tomatoes , peas, and cumin .
