She started ice skating at the age of seven. Since 2003 she has been part of the national team on the short track, in 2004 she was also part of the national team in speed skating , but later specialized in short track. In the 2008/09 season she made her debut in the World Cup. In the same season she reached fourth place in the relay at the World Championships in Vienna and also won bronze at the Team World Championship in Heerenveen , although she was only used there in the preliminary fight. At the Junior World Championships in Sherbrooke she was tenth in the all-around competition. In the following 2009/10 World Cup season , she reached her first podium with the relay. She qualified as a national 500m champion for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver . Over 500 m she was 13th, with the relay she won the bronze medal. She was also able to win bronze with the relay at the World Championships in Sofia . Dudek won the bronze medal again at the 2011 World Team Championship in Warsaw . In the 2011/12 season , Dudek reached her first podium on an individual course in the 1000 m World Cup, and she was second three times in the relay. At the World Championships in Shanghai she reached the semi-finals as the best result over 1500 m.
Dudek graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee and completed her degree by distance learning. Most of the time she trains in Salt Lake City .
