The name Am Wapelsberg is an old designation that is recorded in the original cadastre in the area of today's street.
etymology
The defining word Wapel was created as a high German translation of the dialect word Worbel and means forest berry . The name of the tub therefore referred to a hill that was covered with forest berries.
