Amanappa ( ancient Egyptian Amenemope ) was an important court official of the 18th dynasty . It is only mentioned in the Amarna letters at the time of Amenhotep III. called. Together with the official Haja , he had extensive competencies, which included the control of supplies and tributes . In the letters he is addressed by the vassal prince of Byblos Rib-Addi , who asks him for grain deliveries and help with a siege .
