Amanda Ferreira Menezes Sá (born June 25, 1983 in Belo Horizonte , Minas Gerais as Amanda Ferreira Menezes ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Amanda Menezes began her volleyball career in her home country at the age of twelve at Mackenzie Esporte Clube and later also played for Ecus Suzano and Sesi Uberlândia . Since 2004, the player has played continuously for European clubs in Portugal, Spain and Norway. She was active for Boavista Porto and CS Madeira , with whom she was Portuguese champion and cup winner several times. She also achieved this success with the Clube Desportivo Ribeirense , where she developed into the best setter in Portugal. After a maternity leave, Amanda Sá moved to the Norwegian top club Stod Volley Steinkjer in 2013 , where she was the best setter in the Norwegian first division and won the national double twice. In 2015 she moved to the German Bundesliga at USC Münster .

Private

Amanda Menezes Sá is married to the Portuguese volleyball coach André Sá and has one daughter.
