Amanda Araceli Perez Murillo (born July 31, 1994 ) is a Mexican - American football player .

Career

Perez played for PSV Union FC from Palo Alto in her youth and has been playing for the University of Washington soccer team , the Washington Huskies , since 2013 .

National team

Perez was part of the Mexican U-17 and U-20 national teams and took part in the 2010 U-17 World Cup and the 2012 and 2014 U-20 World Cup . In 2013 she made her debut as part of the Algarve Cup in the Mexican senior team , where she played in two games. She was not nominated for the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup , in which Mexico qualified third for the 2015 World Cup, but was appointed to the Mexican squad for the World Cup in Canada .

Perez 'older sister Veronica Perez (* 1988) is also a Mexican national soccer player and also a member of the 2015 World Cup squad.
