The Amaradia is a left tributary of the Jiu (German: Schil ) in the Little Wallachia in Romania .
geography
The Amaradia rises in the Munții Parâng in the Southern Carpathians south of Roșia de Amaradia . It flows in a southerly direction roughly parallel to Gilort through the Gorj and Dolj Districts and flows into the Jiu northwest of the city of Craiova .
