The Amber Air was a Lithuanian airline based in Vilnius . She operated scheduled, charter and company flights. The company's hub was Palanga Airport . Scheduled flight operations ceased at the end of October 2007 when the airline gave up its Palanga – Hamburg route.

history

Amber Air was founded in December 2004 and began operating on December 23, 2004. After its largest competitor, Air Lithuania, filed for bankruptcy, Amber Air increased the number of flights to and from Palanga by taking over the route to Hamburg from Air Lithuania.

Destinations

In June 2005 the liner service between Palanga , Billund and Warsaw was started. Another route to Hamburg was added later.
