Ambros Neuburger

Ambros Neuburger (born November 10, 1925 in Bessenbach ; † July 8, 2002 in Sailauf ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After his apprenticeship as a toolmaker, Neuburger was active in the military as a paratrooper, was wounded three times and was a prisoner of war. After the war he was a police officer in the city and district of Aschaffenburg and trained in technical telecommunications at the Hessian police school for technology and traffic.

In 1960 Neuburg became a councilor in Sailauf, then a district councilor in the Aschaffenburg district council. He was chairman of the local SPD association Sailauf and deputy chairman of the SPD district. From 1974 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
