Robin John (born July 27, 1991 in Hanover ) is a German handball player . The 1.90 m tall and 86 kg heavy backcourt player played for the former second division club Eintracht Hildesheim between 2013 and 2020 . From summer 2020 John will be the head coach of his former club, HSV Hannover .

In his youth at the HSG Langenhagen . In 2005 he moved to TSV Hannover-Anderten . Since 2009 he has played in the 1st men's team from TSV Hannover-Anderten. This took part under the name HSV Hannover until 2010 in the game operation of the 2nd Handball Bundesliga North; since the formation of the single-track 2nd division, the team has played in the 3rd division north . In 2010, John received an invitation to the DHB course from February 21 to 23 in Warendorf. After John suffered another cruciate ligament rupture in December 2019 and was subsequently not offered a new contract, HSV Hannover was called, where he will hold the post of head coach from summer 2020.
