Andreas Simon (born January 30, 1984 in Minden ) is a former German handball player .

The 1.82 m tall and 86 kg heavy right-hander began playing handball at GWD Minden . The left wing player made his debut with the green-whites in 2003 in the handball Bundesliga . After six years in the first division, he moved to ASV Hamm in the 2nd handball Bundesliga in 2009 , where he was also used as a backcourt player . In 2010 he was promoted to the upper house, where he ran from then on for the newly founded gaming community with the Ahlen SG , the HSG Ahlen-Hamm . After he was immediately relegated with HSG in 2011 and the syndicate was dissolved, he has since returned to the second division for ASV Hamm-Westphalia, where he was also the captain. In 2014 he left the ASV after a strong season with 185 goals. On August 8, 2014, the left winger received the right to play at TSV Bayer Dormagen, which had been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013/14 . After a few days in Dormagen, the native of Minden signed on August 14, 2014 at the second division. There he didn't get the game he was hoping for. That's why he moved to league rivals Eintracht Hildesheim before the end of the first half of the season. After the 2017/18 season, he temporarily ended his career. In April 2019, Andreas Simon joined the Bayern league team HT Munich.

In the 1st Bundesliga, Simon scored 454 goals in 206 games. Andreas Simon made 34 international appearances for the German national junior team and was European junior champion in 2004.
