Amedeo Salfa

Amedeo Salfa (born September 16, 1941 in Rome ) is an Italian film editor .

Salfa has worked in film editing since the mid-1960s ; the work of one of the most valued editors in Italy includes more than 70 film and television productions. He was nominated three times for the David di Donatello film award in the editing category: for Regalo di Natale in 1987, Storia di ragazzi e ragazze two years later and for Il cuore altrove in 2003.

Salva is the master editor of director Pupi Avati , and he has worked with Sergio Corbucci on several occasions .

In 2014 he received the Premio Vittorio de Sica for his entire oeuvre.
