Amenemhet VI. was an ancient Egyptian king ( Pharaoh ) of the 13th Dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ). He ruled around 1740 BC. Chr.

This ruler with the proper name Amenemhet and the throne name Seanch-ib-Re is known from the Royal Papyrus Turin 6.10. This name comes from a sacrificial table from Karnak . Here the king writes three names inside the cartouche : Amenemhet, Antef, Ameni. These names were taken by Ryholt as filiation , but double and triple names correspond to a common practice of the time, so that the explanation is unlikely. The king's cylinder seals are also known.
