Ami Canaan man

Ami Canaan Mann (* 1969 in London-Merton , Surrey , United Kingdom ) is an American director and screenwriter . She is the daughter of the director Michael Mann .

Career

Ami Mann's first script work was an episode of the television series New York Cops - NYPD Blue in 2000. In 2001 she made her debut as a director with the film Morning . For her work on this independent film , she received several awards at film festivals .

After she wrote scripts for several television productions and directed, she took over 2010, directed, produced by her father Michael Mann thriller Texas Killing Fields - Crying country , which in the September 9, 2011 the 68th International Film Festival of Venice was first performed.
