Amreli ( Gujarati : અમરેલી; Hindi : अमरेली) is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat .
The city forms the administrative seat of the district of the same name .
Near Amreli is centrally located on the Kathiawar peninsula. The national highway NH 351 ( Mahuva - Jetpur Navagadh ) passes through the city. As a city, Amreli has the status of a municipality ( Nagar Palika ). It is divided into 13 wards . At the 2011 census, Amreli had around 105,000 inhabitants.
