Amrita Rao (born June 17, 1981 , Chitrapur , Karnataka ) is an Indian actress and model .

Her film debut was in Ab Ke Baras in 2002 , but she only became a star with the film Ishq Vishk . This was followed by Masti - affairs are not worth it! and I am always there for you! , which further increased their awareness. As a result, she was unable to build on these successes, although her performance was highly appreciated by the critics. With her last film by Sooraj R. Barjatya ( Vivah ) she was successful again.

Life

Amrita Deepak Rao was born to a wealthy family in Mumbai. Her father Deepak Rao owns an advertising agency. Her younger sister, Preetika Rao, is a model and actress in South Indian cinema. Rao attended Canossa Convent School for Girls Girls School and graduated from Sophia College, University of Mumbai with a degree in Psychology . Rao describes her family as a "very conservative family - a traditional Indian Hindu family" and herself as very liberal. Her mother tongue is Konkani , but she also speaks Marathi , English and Hindi . After 7 years, she married her boyfriend on May 15, 2016 in Mumbai.
