Aditya lives under one roof in Lokhandwala , Bombay with his grandmother, older brother Sunil, his family and his sister Anjali . In addition, there are the children of his late brother who bring great joie de vivre into the big house. Adi is supported by the pretty nanny Piya, with whom he is secretly in love. When he confesses his love to her, she is reciprocated by Piya and they are already making wedding plans.

But after all this luck comes a big stroke of fate: Adi is hit by a truck and dies in the hospital. Yamraj, the god of death, takes Adi's soul to heaven in his convertible. After Adi comes to, they are on their way to paradise . At first he can't believe he's dead. Weeping, Adi begs Yamraj to bring him back to earth. After all, the Adis family needs help. His sister Anjali was about to be married, but the groom's family demanded 500,000 Indian rupees as a dowry. In addition, the evil uncle tries to sell the house to Harichand.

Yamraj is very touched and fulfills his wish, but he only has seven days. However, no one can see or hear him because he is a ghost. When he is back on earth, Fakira gives him superpowers. Although still nobody can see or hear him, he is now strong and can touch objects.

During the seven days he helps the family out of difficult situations. With a few tricks he plays a prank on Harichand, who then runs away and the house is back in the family's possession. Above all Piya feels that Adi is among them and protects them all.

When the seven days are up, Adi Yamraj asks him to make him visible for five minutes to say goodbye to the family. This affects Yamraj so much that he gives Aditya life again.
