Amrum (municipality)

Amrum was the name of a municipality in the district of Tondern (from October 19, 1920 district of Südtondern ) in the Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein .

On December 1, 1905, the community had 1004 inhabitants who lived in an area of ​​20.37 km 2 .

history

On June 27, 1871, the Amrum parish was reorganized. It was created through the amalgamation of all localities on the island.

On October 13, 1912, the area of ​​the new Wittdün municipality was spun off.

On July 25, 1925, the municipality of Norddorf was re-established by separating it from the municipality of Amrum.

Finally, the remainder of the parish was renamed Nebel on February 23, 1926 .
