The Beckum office was an office in the Beckum district in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . As part of the North Rhine-Westphalian regional reform, the office was dissolved on July 1, 1969.
history
As part of the introduction of the rural community order for the province of Westphalia , the Beckum office was founded in the Beckum district in 1843. It initially comprised the parishes of Beckum , Vellern , Sünninghausen , Lippborg and Lütke Uentrup .
Lütke Uentrup was incorporated into Lippborg in 1930.
The law on the reorganization of the Soest district and parts of the Beckum district ended the existence of the office on July 1, 1969. The parishes of Beckum and Vellern were incorporated into the town of Beckum , Sünninghausen was incorporated into the town of Oelde and Lippborg became part of the new parish of Lippetal in the Soest district . The legal successor to the office of Beckum is the city of Beckum.
