Office Letschin

The Letschin Office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which twelve municipalities of the former Seelow district (now the Barnim district , Brandenburg ) had come together to form an administrative association. The official seat was in the municipality of Letschin . The Letschin office was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Letschin office bordered on the Barnim-Oderbruch Office in the north-west and north , Poland in the east, the Golzow Office and the Seelow-Land Office in the southeast and south , and the Neuhardenberg Office in the southwest and west .

history

The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the creation of the Letschin office on June 30, 1992. The date on which the office was established was July 6, 1992. The office had its seat in the municipality of Letschin and consisted of twelve municipalities of the former Seelow district :

  12. Stone pot

On January 1, 1995, the municipalities of Sietzing and Klein Neuendorf merged to form the new municipality of Sietzing. On December 31, 1997 the municipalities of Letschin, Sophienthal and Steintoch merged to form the new municipality of Letschin. Altbarnim merged on December 31, 1997 with the communities of Neutrebbin and Alttrebbin to form the new community of Neutrebbin and moved to the Barnim-Oderbruch office . On April 4, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of Brandenburg approved the merger of the municipalities of Ortwig, Neubarnim, Gieshof-Zelliner Loose, Kiehnwerder, Groß Neuendorf, Kienitz, Sietzing and Letschin to form the new municipality of Letschin. The merger only became legally effective on October 26, 2003. The Letschin office was dissolved at the same time and the new (large) municipality Letschin became vacant.

Office Director

The first and only female director of the Letschin office was Jutta Lieske , who has been a member of the state parliament of Brandenburg since 2004. From November 2009 to February 24, 2010 she was Minister for Infrastructure and Agriculture of the State of Brandenburg.
