Jutta Lieske (born September 6, 1961 in Seelow ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the state parliament between 2004 and 2019 and was Minister for Infrastructure and Agriculture of the State of Brandenburg from November 2009 until her resignation for health reasons on February 24, 2010 .

Life and work

Jutta Lieske graduated from high school in 1980. From 1980 to 1984 he studied medicine at the Humboldt University in Berlin . She then worked as a day nursery teacher from 1984 to 1990 . During this time, from 1986 to 1987, she did a second degree in crèche pedagogy at the medical college in Eisenhüttenstadt .

From 1990 to 1992 and later in 2003/04 Lieske took over the office of mayor of Letschin im Oderbruch . From 1992 to 2003, she served as office director worked Letschin. Jutta Lieske has been a member of the SPD since 1990. Since October 2008 she has been a member of the Letschin municipal council and a member of the Märkisch-Oderland district council, where she has assumed the chairmanship of the parliamentary group . In the municipal council, she is a member of the economic and construction committee.

After the state election in October 2004 , she moved into the Brandenburg state parliament. Since November 14, 2006, she has been a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport for her group . Before that she sat from October 27, 2004 to December 11, 2006 in the Committee for Rural Development, Environment and Consumer Protection and from October 27, 2004 to April 2, 2007 in the Committee on Petitions . Since February 2008 she has been chairwoman of the Committee of Inquiry 4/1. This committee was set up to clarify the procedural practice for handling the land reform and the responsibility of the Brandenburg state governments.

In addition to parliamentary work, she is active in various clubs and associations. She is a board member at pro agro , the LAG (local action group) Oderland and the working group for school - economy in Märkisch-Oderland. She is a simple member of Letschiner Carnevalverein, Wintersportverein Bad Freienwalde (Oder) , of the support association of the Letschin elementary and comprehensive school and of the Bad Freienwalde Nature Care House.

After the state elections in 2009 , Lieske was appointed Minister for Infrastructure and Agriculture in the Platzeck III cabinet .
